Our Services
Do you feel like you’re going to lose your balance? Can you go up and down the stairs with ease? Do you get out of the bed in the morning with aches and pains? We have the solution for you!
strength
Studies show that as we age, we lose about 1% of our muscle mass every single year. Studies also show that as we age, our bones become frailer and begin to deteriorate. The only way to counteract this, is from a strategic, customized and intentional strength training approach. Once the total body strength assessment is complete, we customize a program for each client based on their current fitness level and their goals.
Balance
One bad fall can change everything. Balance is one of the most important elements to ensuring longevity and quality of life. Our assessment will identify potential risk factors for balance issues such as weak core strength, a lack of ankle/knee strength, weak hip flexors or other muscular imbalances that may contribute to instability and poor balance.
mobility
Mobility and range of motion are key factors to living a pain free life. Whether you want to enjoy a hike in nature, walk up the stairs, or get on the floor with the grandkids, mobility gives you the ability to complete these activities. Our assessment will identify upper body and lower body mobility limitations, which will allow us to customize a program to improve total body mobility
Day 1 at S.B.M.
Step 1: Total Body Evaluation
First we assess your upper body, lower body and core strength through a series of exercises designed to give us all the necessary insights to your current fitness level. Next, we assess your balance with a different set of movements to help us determine your current balance level. The final step in the evaluation is assessing your upper body and lower body mobility, flexibility and range of motion. This part of the evaluation determines where improvements in mobility, flexibility or range of motion needs to occur to prevent injury and decrease day to day aches and pains.
Step 2: BODY COMPOSITION ANALYSIS
After the Total Body Evalution, we scan our clients with our In-Body scanner to give us a complete body composition analysis. This state-of-the-art machine tells us how much muscle you have between your right arm and your left arm, how fast your metabolism is and even lets us know if your body is storing dangerous fat around your organs, which could lead to future health complications. We will walk you through the results of the body composition scan so you have a deep knowledge of how your body stores fat, builds muscle and everything in-between.
Step 3: PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT
Once we have completed the TOTAL BODY EVALUATION and the BODY COMPOSITION ANALYSIS we will map out a program tailored to your current fitness level and the goals you want to achieve.
